I am a Master's Level Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD.0000596) and Registered Psychotherapist (NLC.0104749) with the State of Colorado. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (706380). I began working as a counselor in 1998 after obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver and earning my initial Certification as Addictions Counselor.

Now, my career focus is on the development of my private practice. I find my work so fulfilling and rewarding. I believe part of the human condition is to struggle with experiences and parts of ourselves that have the possibility of impacting our potential, relationships and happiness. Therefore, having personal issues is not weakness, it is part of being human. I am here to support people in using personal strengths and developing tools to increase personal insight and obtain happiness, fulfillment and hope in life. I focus on updating/increasing my training and knowledge in order to be a more authentic helper to my clients.

- Individuals/families/couples struggling with Mental Illness at Jefferson Center for Mental Health
- People and their spouses/families who are working at recovery from addiction(s) at Valley Hope Intensive Outpatient
- Those who are terminally ill and individuals/couples/families dealing with grief after losing a loved one at the Hospice Of Saint John.
